A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke Him and said to Him, ‘Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?’ He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Peace! Oh, Kati ... what a sweet surprise. I'm so glad you liked this hymn. I used to sing it as a child but hadn't thought of it in a long, long time, until I stumbled upon it in the old hymn book. Now I have a whole new love for it. I really love your hymn series, and I love it even more that you have such a love for them. Thanks for linking to my blog.
